Trip to Connecticut to visit Hawaiian friends!

We drove to Connecticut to visit our friends Brigit and Tim. They used to live across from us in our condo complex in Hawaii. They had only Jack, now 4, when we were in Hawaii, and now they have Charlie, 2, as well. We had a fun trip and the kids had a blast!!!

Driving onto the Sub base New London.

At dinner.

These pictures were from Jim reading bingo numbers at Colin's school . They were having a book fair and honoring heros that week. So they had two service members, Jim and another guy from the Air Force, read bingo numbers. As you can also see, Rylee and Mason could not let him do it alone!!!

Halloween

These are from Halloween and the day before. Colin dressed as superman for his school parade, it was easier than trying to make him wear that robot costume to school!!
As for the kids halloween costumes, I made them!! They came out alot better than I thought! They wanted to be characters from Yo Gabba Gabba. A new show on Nick Jr. Colin and Masons were from scratch, Rylee's I tweeked from a costume we bought last year for $2! The kids had a blast despite the cold weather.

Fall Activities

Sorry it has been a while since I blogged!! It has been busy around here.
The weekend of the 9th we drove back to Buffalo for Sherri's baby shower. Jen was home with Trent too, so we went to a pumpkin patch with all the kids. We had a blast!!
I have been busy with making the kids costumes, bible studies, and babysitting. Trying to keep myself home rather than out shopping, which many of you know is a problem:)
We went last weekend to a local pumpkin patch around our house and got our pumpkins and apples and all kinds of goodies!! Rylee and Mason rode on ponies. Colin did not want to because they were too stinky:) It was a great time!!
We have also been busy raking leaves!!! It is rough getting used to cold weather and season changes, although we do love the fall!!
Enjoy, and there will be more to come, soon!! Between the house decorating, pumpkin carvings and costume making, there will be tons more pictures.

The kids pumpkins. We will wait till they are sleeping to do the "adult" ones:)
Tractor ride at pumpkin patch.

Lunch time!!

It was seriously VERY cold:)

Rylee on her pony. She really wants one of these for Christmas.

Precious moment!

Apple Picking at Conklin Farms in Pamona NY

On Saturday we went apple picking with some friends from church. The kids had a blast, and it was an amazingly beautiful day!! We all ate at least two apples while filling up our bag!! The kids thought it was the coolest thing and Mason actually took a bite out of 10 or more apples, he just couldn' t find the right one:)

Yes, there is a bite out of each of those!!

Camera hog Colin:)

Tree hugger

Trying to get a nice picture of ourselves while keeping our eyes on the kids.

Notice Rylee's baby doll has a matching outfit on.

Mason's 2nd birthday!!

So for Mason's second birthday on the 18th we went to Chuck E Cheese's. My mom was here visiting and my dad and his wife Anita drove over for the day from Connecticut. We went to Chuck e cheeses for dinner and dessert!! It was nice having 3 extra adults at chuck e cheeses with the kids. It allowed for some relaxing (kind of) time for Jim and I.
I can't believe my little man is 2!! They are all growing up so fast, it seems like it was yesterday I moved to Hawaii and only had an 8 month old baby!!

Yes I made this. It actually turned out better than I thought!

Dinner time!!
