Kokua Festival

We originally had tickets to go into the concert. Unfortounatly we couldn't get a sitter for the kids, so we sold our tickets. We decided to go hang out outside the concert hall, (the waikiki shell, an outdoor concert place) with our friends and let the kids run around. We are glad we went and the kids had a blast!

Just another day at the beach!

Since our time in winding down here in Hawaii, we want to take advantage of the sun and try to go to the beach as much as possible! The kids are getting so brave in the water, and even Mason just lies right down in the water and floats around, even with no float on!

Ala Moana Beach Park

Yesterday we had church at the beach. We all had a great time and Jim and I paddle boarded for the first time in the four years we have been here. It was a blast. The kids enjoyed riding on the boards too. Colin actually did this himself, but by the time I got the camera, he wouldn't do it anymore!

The Bishop Museum

Today we were going to go to the beach, but the cold weather in Hawaii prevented us from going:) We went to the museum instead. It was YMCA kids day and there were lots of fun activties music and games for the kids. The exhibits we went to were the Hawaiian culture, CIRCUS under the Bigtop and the planetarium. The kids had fun and as you can see from the pictures, Jim did too:)

This is a model of Poop!! This was a Zebra poop that the kids were looking at. How gross! There was camel poop, lion poop, elephant poop and giraffe poop!

There is a huge Sperm whale model hanging in the museum, the model was made in Rochester, NY. I thought I needed to share that for all of you back home:)

Tenants Moving in!!

Today is the big day, our tenants get their keys!! After countless hours of cleaning/scrubbing/painting, 11.5 to be exact, we are finally done!! I am extremely releived to be out of the house and have it rented. Altough we are taking a loss each month, it is better than having no renters at all!
Now all we have to do is pray they keep the house in as good of shape as we left it!
43 days till we fly out!!!

Addicted!

So now that I am full fledged blogging, I am hooked and am obsessed with putting up stuff!! Thanks Claud for getting me addicted to the blog! Anyways, another day haning out at home! Our friends, the Jacksons, are here in Hawaii and are coming over for dinner. Their son is Ryan and is 6 months older than Colin. Some of you may remember pics of him with Ryan from Christmas 2005.

Finally updating after one year:)

Well, now that I don't have much to take care of in terms of stuff to clean in our house, I can actually relax and take the time to update our blog. Actually, I have never posted on the blog before, Claudia made it and set it all up for me.
